Distribution Panels are intended to  provide necessary AC or DC supplies to  the AC or DC machines. There are two different distribution panels available. These are classified as AC distribution panel or DC distribution panel. The AC supply (three phase) to an AC machine is routed through AC panel and while DC supply is routed through DC panel. This is similar to a distribution board, in function. Each machine gets its AC or DC supply either from the mains or from the rectifier unit respectively, through these panels only. I.e. the supply for each machine is routed through this distribution panel. The supply to each machine is suitably switched ON/ OFF through a suitably protected MCB. This provides protection to each machine. Routing supply through these panels allow you to switch ON or OFF using respective switch gear, there by power can be saved, permitting you to switch ON the machines which are required for experimentation and switching OFF the remaining machines.

A Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) control panel is used to regulate the speed and torque of an electric motor by varying the frequency and voltage supplied to the motor. These panels typically include components such as:

Automatic Power Factor Control or APFC Panels are mainly used for the improvement of Power Factor. Power Factor is the ratio of active power to apparent power and it is a major component in measuring electrical consumption. APFC is an automatic power factor control panel which is used to improve the power factor, whenever required, by switching ON and OFF the required capacitor bank units automatically.

A Solar AC Distribution Box (ACDB) is an essential component in a solar photovoltaic (PV) system that manages the AC power output from the solar inverters and distributes it to various loads or connects it to the grid. Here are the key features and components typically found in an ACDB:

1. AC Input from Inverters: The ACDB receives the output from one or more solar inverters, which convert the DC power generated by the solar panels into AC power suitable for household or grid use.

5. Surge Protection Devices (SPDs): SPDs are installed to protect against voltage surges or spikes that could damage sensitive equipment connected to the ACDB.

6. Enclosure: The ACDB is housed in an enclosure that protects the internal components from environmental factors such as dust, moisture, and physical impact. The enclosure also includes safety features like locks and interlocks to prevent unauthorized access.

Relay Based DG Synchronizing Panel is used for synchronizing two or more DG’s by Relay. These are instrumentation based panels for auto synchronization and load sharing functions as per specific requirements of the customers.
